We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals to join us as Private Mathematics Tutors. As a tutor with Chayna Smart Course, you will become part of a vibrant community of educators who value continuous professional development, collaborative teaching practices, and the use of technology to enhance learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design and prepare comprehensive lesson plans (RPP) that align with the national curriculum and the specific needs of each student.
- Deliver engaging mathematics lessons both in‑person at our Sei Serayu campus and via virtual platforms, ensuring clarity and interactivity.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies—such as problem‑based learning, visual aids, and real‑world applications—to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Assign regular practice exercises, conduct formative assessments, and provide detailed feedback to track student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment results, and individualized learning plans.
- Offer one‑on‑one support sessions and group study discussions to reinforce concepts and address student questions.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and the curriculum team to share best practices, develop supplemental resources, and continuously improve teaching quality.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest educational technologies, e‑learning platforms, and pedagogical research in mathematics education.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics Education, Pure Mathematics, or a related field. Current final‑semester university students are also welcome.
- Experience: At least 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably with high‑school or vocational‑school students.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with e‑learning platforms, spreadsheet applications, and Microsoft Office; ownership of a tablet or laptop for digital lesson delivery.
- Personal Qualities: Patience, strong communication skills, a friendly and motivational demeanor, disciplined work habits, and punctuality.
