Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, age‑appropriate supervision throughout the day, ensuring the child’s safety at all times.
- Plan and execute educational and recreational activities that promote cognitive growth, motor skill development, and creativity.
- Prepare balanced meals and snacks according to nutritional guidelines and any dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a consistent daily schedule, including bedtime routines, hygiene practices, and outdoor play.
- Organize and supervise transportation to school, extracurricular classes, and weekend outings, adhering to all traffic safety regulations.
- Monitor the child’s health, administer basic first aid when needed, and promptly report any concerns to the parents.
- Assist with light household tasks related to the child, such as laundry, tidying play areas, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Communicate daily progress, challenges, and successes to parents through brief reports or verbal updates.
- Collaborate with teachers, tutors, or therapists to reinforce learning objectives and therapeutic plans.
- Encourage the development of social skills by arranging playdates and guiding positive interactions with peers.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma or degree in early childhood education or child psychology is a strong advantage.
- Age limit: Candidates up to 30 years old are preferred to ensure energetic engagement with the child.
- Gender: Open to all genders; the focus is on competence and temperament.
- Experience: Prior experience (even informal) caring for children of similar age is required.
- Key soft skills: Patience, discipline, strong communication, empathy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Additional skills: Basic first‑aid certification, ability to plan educational activities, and competence in preparing nutritious meals.
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional events outside regular hours.
- Reliable transportation or willingness to use family‑provided vehicle for child‑related trips.
- Clean background check and references confirming trustworthiness and professionalism.
