Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Petugas Kebersihan Gedung dan Area Umum (Building and General Area Cleaner) to join our facilities team. This full‑time position plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all employees, visitors, and partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for up‑keeping the office premises, ensuring that all common areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. The role operates Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and requires a proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of office floors, carpets, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Collect and dispose of waste, recycle materials, and replace liners in trash bins to maintain a tidy environment.
- Monitor and restock hygiene supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and cleaning agents.
- Ensure all cleaning tools (vacuum cleaners, mops, scrubbers) are maintained in good working condition and report any malfunction.
- Conduct periodic deep‑cleaning tasks, including window washing, dusting high surfaces, and floor polishing.
- Assist with setting up meeting rooms, arranging furniture, and preparing workspaces for special events or client visits.
- Inspect the premises for any safety hazards (e.g., spills, broken fixtures) and take immediate corrective action or notify the facilities manager.
- Maintain accurate cleaning logs and report completion of tasks to supervisors on a daily basis.
- Support other facilities staff during peak periods or when additional assistance is required.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience working as an office boy, janitor, or similar cleaning role.
- Male candidates only.
- Good physical health and stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads.
- Proficient in the use of standard office cleaning equipment and chemicals, with an understanding of safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to keep office areas organized, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Personal qualities: diligent, quick‑working, initiative‑driven, honest, disciplined, and responsible.
- Own reliable transportation to travel to and from the workplace.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English is a plus.
