As the face of Supercoat on the ground, you will combine technical product knowledge with persuasive communication skills to influence buying decisions at construction sites, hardware stores, and large‑scale projects. The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated, results‑oriented professional who thrives on meeting targets and enjoys the autonomy of field‑based sales work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular sales visits to building material stores, construction projects, and regional distributors to present Supercoat’s product line.
- Explain technical specifications, application methods, and performance benefits of both water‑based and solvent‑based paints, tailoring the message to the audience’s level of expertise.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the assigned territory, creating a pipeline of prospects through cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
- Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with existing customers and distribution partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Prepare and submit detailed activity reports, sales forecasts, and market intelligence on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to provide field feedback that influences new product launches and promotional strategies.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets set by senior management, leveraging promotional offers, volume discounts, and bundled solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels at distributor locations and coordinate with logistics to prevent stock‑outs.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and local industry events to raise brand awareness and capture market trends.
Requirements
- Male candidate, age between 20 and 40 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in the paint (wall and oil‑based) industry, preferably with a focus on sales or distribution.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in simple terms.
- Highly motivated, target‑driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Own reliable motor vehicle and a valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C).
- Deep familiarity with the Tangerang market, including key retailers, contractors, and construction firms.
- Proficient in preparing sales reports, using basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and punctuality.
