Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and proactive QA Fresh Hub professional to join our fast‑growing logistics operation in West Jakarta. The role focuses on maintaining the highest quality standards for fresh, frozen, and perishable goods as they move through our inbound processes and reside within our hub facilities. Candidates will work closely with hub staff, ensuring that every item meets safety and freshness criteria, while documenting findings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough quality inspections of fresh, frozen, and related products during inbound receipt and while stored in the hub, identifying any signs of spoilage, damage, or non‑conformance.
- Record temperature readings from chillers, freezers, and ambient storage areas using calibrated thermometers, and verify compliance with SOP‑defined temperature ranges.
- Update stock status in the warehouse management system when products are deemed unfit for consumption (bad stock), coordinating closely with hub staff to isolate or dispose of such items safely.
- Monitor storage conditions continuously, recommending corrective actions such as repositioning pallets, adjusting airflow, or initiating equipment maintenance when temperature or humidity deviations are detected.
- Collect, organize, and digitize all inspection data, ensuring traceability and readiness for internal audits or regulatory reviews.
- Prepare and submit concise daily reports summarizing inspection results, temperature logs, and any incidents, highlighting trends that may require managerial attention.
- Participate in shift handovers (morning, afternoon, night) to guarantee seamless continuity of quality checks across 24‑hour operations.
- Assist in periodic internal and third‑party audits by providing required documentation and demonstrating compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP and local regulatory guidelines.
- Support training of new hub personnel on basic quality inspection techniques, proper use of measuring devices, and best practices for handling perishable goods.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in retail, wholesale, or warehouse environments handling fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, or meat.
- Demonstrated ability to assess the visual and sensory quality of perishable items, recognizing signs of deterioration.
- Strong attention to detail, agility, and a sense of responsibility in fast‑paced settings.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, night) and adapt to changing operational demands.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting, with familiarity in using warehouse management systems a plus.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross‑functional hub teams and reporting findings clearly.
