Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Remedial Officer – Collection to join our dynamic team in Purwakarta, Jawa Barat. This pivotal role focuses on overseeing the collection of overdue accounts receivable (A/R) within a fast‑growing multifinance environment. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between our clients and internal departments, ensuring timely recoveries while maintaining strong, professional relationships.
The position offers a full‑time schedule, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 16:00, and is ideal for individuals who thrive under target‑driven conditions, possess excellent negotiation skills, and are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue accounts, ensuring that all targets are met within the stipulated timelines.
- Conduct proactive outreach to delinquent borrowers via phone, email, and in‑person visits, employing effective negotiation techniques to secure payment arrangements.
- Analyze credit files and payment histories to identify risk patterns and propose corrective actions to senior management.
- Collaborate closely with the credit underwriting, legal, and customer service teams to resolve disputes and streamline collection workflows.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collection performance, aging analysis, and recovery rates for executive review.
- Maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM and collection management system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies.
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior staff or interns, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Stay updated on relevant regulations governing multifinance and debt collection, applying best practices to minimize legal exposure.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: D3/D4 (associate or diploma) in any field; a bachelor’s degree (S1) is preferred.
- Male candidates only, up to 30 years of age.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related financial services; fresh graduates with strong academic records are also welcome.
- Demonstrated understanding of multifinance business processes and a strong orientation toward meeting targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, meticulous attention to detail, and honesty.
- Proficiency in credit monitoring, debt recovery procedures, and basic computer applications (MS Office, CRM tools).
