Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Akuisisi Merchant EDC – Wilayah Kota Bau‑Bau to join our growing team. In this role you will be the front‑line ambassador for our electronic payment solutions, actively engaging small and medium enterprises (UMKM) across Bau‑Bau and its surrounding districts. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with a proven sales record, a valid motorcycle license, and a genuine passion for helping businesses modernize their payment processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily canvassing activities targeting UMKM owners to introduce and demonstrate the benefits of our EDC (Electronic Data Capture) machines.
- Achieve a sales target of 2‑3 new merchant installations per day by building strong relationships and following up on leads.
- Perform on‑site product demonstrations, answer technical questions, and guide merchants through the onboarding process.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, sales activities, and customer feedback using the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to relay market insights and suggest improvements to sales collateral.
- Provide post‑sale support, ensuring merchants are satisfied with the device setup and can process transactions without issues.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, sharing progress, challenges, and best practices with the team.
- Adhere to all compliance and safety regulations, especially those related to handling payment equipment and personal data.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a sales or field‑service role, preferably within the fintech or payment‑services industry.
- Valid SIM C (motorcycle license) and ownership of a two‑wheel vehicle for daily travel across Bau‑Bau.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts in simple terms.
- Highly motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic sales analysis tools and ability to interpret performance metrics.
