Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Pengawas Lapangan Operasional dan Pengendalian Mutu (Field Operations & Quality Control Supervisor) to join our fast‑growing construction and interior‑fitout division. The successful candidate will act as the on‑site guardian of project standards, ensuring that every building element—from structural frameworks to interior finishes—meets the rigorous quality, safety, and schedule requirements set by the company and its clients. This role is pivotal in translating design intent into tangible results while fostering a disciplined, collaborative, and ethically sound work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities on multiple sites, coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain seamless workflow.
- Conduct thorough inspections of structural, architectural, and interior works, verifying compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable regulations.
- Implement and monitor quality‑control procedures, documenting findings, generating non‑conformance reports, and ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and photographic records for senior management review.
- Collaborate closely with project engineers, architects, and the procurement team to resolve design ambiguities and material discrepancies.
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure all workers observe mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
- Manage site resources efficiently, including the scheduling of equipment, tools, and the candidate’s personal vehicle for rapid site access.
- Participate in client and consultant meetings, presenting site status, quality metrics, and mitigation strategies for any identified risks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on construction methods, material performance, and workflow optimization.
- Mentor junior field staff, fostering a culture of accountability, punctuality, and professional integrity.
Requirements
- Male candidate, maximum age of 27 years.
- Minimum education: D3 in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Building Construction; SMA/SMK or equivalent is acceptable for entry‑level consideration.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in building or construction projects, with a proven ability to read and interpret construction and interior design drawings.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian building codes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Possession of a personal motor vehicle for site mobility.
- Demonstrated soft skills: excellent communication, problem‑solving mindset, high attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Commitment to performing the five daily prayers (Sholat) reflects a disciplined and respectful personal routine.
- Proficiency with basic office software and mobile reporting tools for real‑time data capture.
- Willingness to work six days a week (Monday to Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
