Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and diligent Sales Microfinancing Officer to join our retail customer team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our micro‑loan portfolio by conducting on‑site visits, negotiating repayment solutions, and ensuring accurate documentation of every interaction. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a field‑based environment, possess strong communication skills, and are committed to helping customers meet their financial obligations responsibly.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct direct, face‑to‑face visits to borrowers’ homes, workplaces, or other locations to collect overdue payments.
  • Assess each borrower’s financial situation and propose appropriate repayment options, such as installment plans, loan restructuring, or temporary grace periods.
  • Prepare and submit detailed daily visit reports, highlighting collection outcomes, challenges encountered, and progress toward targets.
  • Document every customer interaction in the company’s CRM system, attaching signed acknowledgment forms, photographs, or other evidence as required.
  • Collaborate with the credit and risk management teams to flag high‑risk accounts and recommend preventive measures.
  • Educate borrowers on the benefits of timely repayment and provide guidance on budgeting and financial planning.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor that reflects the organization’s reputation for integrity and customer care.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with local regulations and internal policies related to debt collection and consumer protection.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: 18 – 33 years.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening abilities.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Basic proficiency with mobile communication tools and data entry devices.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a daily route, and meet collection targets.
  • High level of integrity, punctuality, and a customer‑focused attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred but not mandatory.
