This role serves as the front‑line liaison between Amartha and prospective borrowers, helping to identify, educate, and support new members of our loan program. Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage potential borrowers, presenting Amartha’s micro‑loan products and guiding them through the application process.
  • Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments, providing tailored financial counseling to improve borrowers’ income stability and repayment capacity.
  • Perform field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with internal risk‑assessment frameworks and regulatory policies.
  • Coordinate the collection of repayments, maintain accurate records of payment status, and follow up with delinquent accounts in a respectful yet firm manner.
  • Prepare daily and weekly activity reports, highlighting key performance indicators such as new leads, approved loans, and collection rates.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting and credit teams to streamline the approval workflow and address any documentation gaps.
  • Organize community workshops and financial literacy sessions to strengthen the overall economic resilience of the neighborhoods served.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to Amartha’s code of conduct while representing the brand in the field.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
  • Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years for senior candidates).
  • All genders are welcome; female candidates are especially encouraged.
  • Own a reliable motorbike or car to travel across the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrated integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
  • Resilient, disciplined, and capable of working independently in the field every day.
  • Basic proficiency in digital tools for data entry and reporting; familiarity with financial analysis is advantageous.
  • Either fresh graduates or candidates with prior experience in sales, community development, or micro‑finance are welcome.
  • Soft skills: problem‑solving, time management, empathy, and the ability to build trust quickly with diverse communities.
