Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Spesialis Merchandising dan Penataan Produk (Virtual Display Order/MD) to join our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) team. In this role, you will be the visual guardian of our Sasa product line, ensuring that every shelf, aisle, and promotional display in retail outlets reflects the brand’s high standards and drives maximum sales. As a key liaison between the sales, marketing, and retail partners, you will combine analytical insight with creative visual merchandising to keep our products prominently positioned, fully stocked, and appealing to consumers.
Responsibilities
- Arrange and maintain Sasa product displays in retail locations according to corporate visual standards, ensuring consistent brand presentation.
- Monitor shelf stock levels daily; execute timely replenishment to avoid out‑of‑stock situations and guarantee product availability.
- Inspect displayed items for quality, confirming that no product is damaged, expired, or improperly stored.
- Conduct competitive price and promotion monitoring, capturing data on rival offerings and adjusting in‑store strategies accordingly.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with store managers and retail staff, facilitating smooth operations and collaborative promotional activities.
- Prepare and submit daily merchandising reports covering stock counts, display compliance, promotional execution, and any issues encountered.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to align field needs with promotional calendars, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Utilize mobile reporting tools and digital applications to log activities, capture photographs of displays, and provide real‑time updates to headquarters.
- Analyze sales data and visual performance metrics to recommend improvements in product placement, fixture usage, and promotional tactics.
- Travel across assigned territories, ensuring coverage of all retail partners and maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of local market dynamics.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/S1 preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience as a merchandiser, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Professional appearance and strong personal presentation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence retail partners.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
- Own reliable transportation for mobile field work.
- Deep familiarity with the assigned geographic area and its retail landscape.
- Proficiency with mobile reporting apps, spreadsheets, and basic data entry tools.
- Comfortable with technology; no “gaptek” (technology‑phobic) tendencies.
- Male candidates are preferred as per current gender requirement.
- Strong analytical mindset for competitor analysis, sales trend evaluation, and inventory control.
