Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities in accordance with the hotel’s SOPs.
- Inspect rooms after service to ensure compliance with the hotel’s quality control standards and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Re‑stock amenities, linens, and consumables, ensuring each room is fully equipped for guest arrival.
- Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with the front desk, maintenance, and food‑beverage teams to coordinate room turnovers, special requests, and VIP preparations.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and waste segregation.
- Participate in regular training sessions on hygiene protocols, sustainable cleaning practices, and guest service excellence.
- Maintain a tidy and organised work station, and ensure all housekeeping carts are stocked and ready for the next shift.
- Support fellow team members during peak periods, demonstrating flexibility to work both individually and as part of a cohesive unit.
- Contribute ideas for improving workflow efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall cleanliness standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a background in hospitality (especially hotel housekeeping) is highly preferred.

- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Ability to work effectively in both team‑oriented and independent settings.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Basic knowledge of quality control for cleanliness and an eye for detail.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, lift moderate loads, and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
