Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Akuntansi dan Pajak to join our dynamic finance team at our Jakarta headquarters. This full‑time position plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, and the efficient use of our ERP systems. The ideal candidate will bring a solid academic foundation, hands‑on experience in both accounting and tax functions, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and post daily journal entries using Accurate, SAP, or other ERP platforms, ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal controls.
- Manage the full tax cycle, including PPN, PPh 21, monthly tax returns, and annual SPT submissions, while staying updated on the latest CoreTax system enhancements.
- Conduct month‑end and year‑end closing activities, reconcile accounts, and produce financial statements for management review.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting reports, variance analyses, and budgeting tools to support strategic decision‑making.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions—VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formulas—to streamline data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with internal auditors and external tax consultants to facilitate audits and resolve compliance issues.
- Assist in the preparation of tax planning strategies, identifying opportunities for tax optimization and risk mitigation.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and professionalism.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects, offering financial insight that drives operational efficiency and profitability.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting or Finance.
- Female candidates aged between 25 and 49 years are preferred, reflecting our commitment to gender‑balanced teams.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax functions, preferably within Indonesian corporate environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Indonesian tax law, including PPN, PPh 21, and annual tax filings; familiarity with the new CoreTax system is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Accurate, SAP, or comparable ERP systems.
- Certified Brevet A & B qualifications are highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the use of VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macro development.
- Key soft skills: integrity, discipline, meticulous attention to detail, creativity in problem‑solving, and strong communication abilities.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 18:00, and adapt to a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
