Responsibilities

- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, recitation tests, and oral examinations, providing constructive feedback and individualized support.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Qur’anic values across subjects, promoting an interdisciplinary approach to moral education.
- Organize extracurricular programs such as Qur’an clubs, memorization challenges, and community outreach events.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student achievements, ensuring compliance with school reporting requirements.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and parent‑teacher conferences to discuss student performance and curriculum enhancements.
- Uphold the school’s Islamic ethos by modeling exemplary conduct, adhering to a non‑smoking policy, and fostering a respectful, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Islamic Studies, Arabic, Education, or a related field; a high school diploma (SMA/K) is acceptable for entry‑level positions.
- Strong command of the Salaf methodology (Bermanhaj Salaf) and classical Qur’anic recitation.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and Arabic, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and ability to engage teenage learners.
- Commitment to a healthy lifestyle, including a strict non‑smoking policy.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
