Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities, adhering to the hotel’s SOPs and industry health standards.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure all amenities are replenished, linens are fresh, and any maintenance issues are reported promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, and coordinate with the procurement team to restock when necessary.
- Collaborate with the front‑desk and maintenance departments to respond quickly to special requests, room turnovers, and emergency cleaning situations.
- Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping closet, ensuring that equipment such as vacuums, carts, and cleaning chemicals are stored safely.
- Follow proper waste disposal procedures, including segregation of recyclables and hazardous materials, in line with local environmental regulations.
- Participate in routine deep‑cleaning projects, such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and floor polishing, on a scheduled basis.
- Provide courteous and professional interaction with guests, answering any housekeeping‑related inquiries and delivering exceptional service.
- Adhere to shift schedules, work overtime when required, and remain flexible to cover peak periods or unexpected staffing gaps.
- Continuously improve personal performance by attending training sessions on new cleaning technologies, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/S1 preferred for specialized positions.
- At least 1 year of relevant housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar hospitality setting.
