Responsibilities

- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring all stations are clean, organized, and compliant with local health regulations.
- Assist the Head Chef in planning daily specials, seasonal menus, and promotional dishes that reflect current culinary trends.
- Coordinate closely with sous‑chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and help with the ordering of fresh produce, meats, and pantry items.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill development.
- Adapt quickly to changing customer preferences, special dietary requests, and unexpected operational challenges.
- Contribute ideas for cost‑saving measures without compromising food quality or guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Core Skills: Proficient in cooking techniques, ingredient handling, and plating; strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team, excellent communication, strong time‑management, and a positive attitude under pressure.
- Availability: Willing to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods and handling the physical demands of a commercial kitchen.
