Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role focuses on the preparation, analysis, and management of financial reports and bookkeeping activities. Responsibilities
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts on a daily basis, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, reconcile inter‑company accounts, and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic planning.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, collection, and payment cycles.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—such as procurement, sales, and operations—to gather necessary financial data and resolve accounting issues.
- Prepare ad‑hoc financial reports and analytical dashboards for senior management as needed.
- Continuously improve bookkeeping procedures and suggest automation opportunities to increase efficiency.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (per company policy).
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 (associate degree) in Accounting; a bachelor’s degree (S1) is highly preferred.
- Age: Maximum 27 years at the time of application.
- Work Experience: Prior experience in accounting is desirable, but recent graduates with a strong academic record are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Zahir, or similar), strong MS Excel abilities, and familiarity with basic financial reporting standards.
