Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic examinations, including visual acuity testing, slit‑lamp evaluation, tonometry, and retinal imaging.
- Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and ocular infections.
- Perform surgical procedures ranging from cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation to laser therapies and complex vitreoretinal surgeries.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe medication, and provide postoperative follow‑up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with nurses, optometrists, anesthesiologists, and other physicians to coordinate multidisciplinary care pathways.
- Utilize the hospital’s integrated information system (SIMRS) to document patient encounters, update electronic health records, and generate accurate billing reports.
- Participate in clinical research, case conferences, and quality‑improvement initiatives that advance ophthalmic practice standards.
- Mentor junior doctors, medical students, and resident physicians, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, pharmaceutical advances, and evidence‑based guidelines through continuous medical education.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Doctor of Medicine (S3) degree with specialization in Ophthalmology.
- Licensure: Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) and valid medical practice certificate.
- Experience: At least 0 years of clinical practice; fresh graduates with strong academic records are welcome.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating the SIMRS (Hospital Management Information System) and familiarity with electronic health record documentation.

- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
