Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Mandarin Language Coach to deliver premium language training to business professionals. This full‑time position is based in Indonesia and offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to fostering cross‑cultural communication in the corporate sector. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging Mandarin lessons, both spoken and written, that align with the specific needs of executives, managers, and entrepreneurs aiming to expand their market reach in China and other Mandarin‑speaking regions.
Responsibilities
- Develop customized lesson plans that focus on business terminology, negotiation language, and professional etiquette in Mandarin.
- Conduct one‑on‑one and small‑group coaching sessions, utilizing interactive methods such as role‑plays, case studies, and real‑world business scenarios.
- Assess learner proficiency regularly through quizzes, oral presentations, and written assignments, providing constructive feedback to promote rapid skill acquisition.
- Prepare and maintain teaching materials, including slide decks, audio recordings, and digital resources, ensuring they are up‑to‑date with current business trends.
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to align language training with broader corporate training programs.
- Monitor attendance, progress reports, and performance metrics, reporting findings to senior management on a monthly basis.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and peer‑review sessions to continuously improve instructional quality.
- Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and cultural sensitivity.
Requirements
- Female candidate, aged 28 years or younger.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1), preferably in Mandarin, Chinese Literature, or Mandarin Education.
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts in Indonesian or English.
- Preferably holds an HSK certification (Level 4 or above) or has prior experience teaching Mandarin to adult learners.
- Demonstrated responsibility, strong work ethic, and disciplined approach to lesson preparation and delivery.
- Passion for education, with a genuine interest in helping professionals succeed in international business environments.
- Excellent teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate with colleagues across departments.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
