Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Professional Cook to join our dynamic team serving both restaurant and catering operations. This role is ideal for culinary enthusiasts who thrive in fast‑paced kitchen environments and are passionate about delivering high‑quality, nutritious meals to a diverse clientele, including hospital patients, corporate events, and private functions. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of dishes according to standardized recipes and customer specifications.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely delivery of meals for both on‑site dining and off‑site catering orders.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, adhering to HACCP guidelines and local health regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and control waste to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen team, front‑of‑house staff, and event coordinators to ensure seamless service during high‑volume periods.
  • Adapt menus for special dietary needs, including low‑sodium, gluten‑free, and diabetic‑friendly options, particularly for hospital catering.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, ensuring all tools are in safe working condition.
  • Contribute ideas for new menu items, seasonal promotions, and innovative plating techniques.

Requirements

  • Male or female candidates, maximum age of 30 years.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a D3 degree in Culinary Arts (Tata Boga) is highly desirable.
  • At least 3 years of professional cooking experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a hospital or similar institutional kitchen.
  • Proven ability to operate standard kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Strong teamwork skills combined with the capacity to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a clean, orderly work style.
  • Effective communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a reputation for honesty and reliability.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing menus, special events, and occasional overtime during peak periods.
