Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Manajer Operasional Bagian Pengiriman to lead our delivery fleet and ensure the smooth execution of daily shipping operations. This pivotal role is based in our central hub and reports directly to the Head of Logistics. The ideal candidate is a disciplined, safety‑focused professional with at least one year of hands‑on driving and operational experience, ready to take ownership of route planning, vehicle maintenance, and team coordination.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch activities for Grand Max Box and Elf delivery vehicles.
- Develop optimal delivery routes, taking into account traffic patterns, customer windows, and fuel efficiency.
- Ensure all drivers adhere to company safety policies, traffic regulations, and proper vehicle loading procedures.
- Monitor vehicle performance, schedule routine maintenance, and manage any unexpected breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption reports for audit and cost‑control purposes.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to align inventory release with delivery schedules, preventing stockouts or over‑stock situations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with drivers, providing coaching on safe driving, customer service, and time management.
- Implement and enforce compliance with SIM A/B licensing requirements and any other statutory transport regulations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics such as on‑time delivery rate and vehicle utilization.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new drivers, emphasizing company culture and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age 40 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience driving commercial vans (Grand Max Box or Elf) and managing delivery operations.
- Valid Indonesian SIM A/B license; clean driving record is essential.
- No formal educational diploma required; however, secondary education (SMA) or higher is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Jakarta and surrounding area road networks, with the ability to adapt routes quickly.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills; ability to prioritize multiple deliveries under tight deadlines.
- Proven leadership qualities with a focus on team motivation and conflict resolution.
- Basic computer literacy for using GPS, routing software, and company ERP systems.
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks and endure long driving hours.
- Commitment to work Monday through Saturday, with shift hours typically from 04:00 – 14:00 or 08:00 – 17:00 as required.
