Introduction
The Faculty of Health Sciences is seeking a dedicated and academically accomplished individual to join our team as a Lecturer for the Master of Midwifery (Program Studi Magister Kebidanan). Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver graduate‑level coursework in midwifery, including core modules, electives, and seminars.
- Guide and supervise Master’s theses, capstone projects, and clinical research initiatives, ensuring rigorous methodological standards.
- Conduct original research in maternal and child health, publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals, and present at national and international conferences.
- Participate actively in curriculum review committees, contributing to the continuous improvement of program outcomes and accreditation compliance.
- Mentor junior faculty and graduate assistants, fostering a supportive learning environment and encouraging scholarly collaboration.
- Engage with professional bodies, hospitals, and community organizations to create internship and practicum opportunities for students.
- Uphold the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi by balancing teaching excellence, research productivity, and community outreach.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of global midwifery standards, health policies, and emerging technologies that impact maternal health.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a Master’s degree (S2) in a health‑related field; Ph.D. (S3) in Health Sciences or a related discipline is required, preferably with a background in Bachelor of Midwifery (S1 Kebidanan).
- Experience: Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level is highly preferred; experience in supervising research projects is an advantage.
- Research & Publication: Demonstrated ability to conduct scholarly research and a record of publications in reputable scientific journals.
- Skills: Strong pedagogical skills, effective communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English, proficiency with e‑learning platforms, and the ability to develop innovative teaching materials.
- Personal Attributes: Commitment to lifelong learning, collaborative mindset, high ethical standards, and a genuine passion for improving maternal and neonatal health outcomes.
- Additional Criteria: Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and to fulfill the university’s Tri Dharma responsibilities.
