Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm and personalized welcome.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and recommend wine or beverage pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of traditional Indonesian dishes, preparation methods, and ingredients to answer guest inquiries confidently.
- Take accurate orders using the restaurant’s POS system, communicating any special dietary requests to the kitchen team.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes and drinks, monitoring service flow throughout the shift.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, seeking swift resolution and following up to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas, including arranging table settings, linens, and decorative elements that reflect the restaurant’s upscale ambiance.
- Participate in pre‑service briefings and post‑service debriefs, contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior wait staff, providing guidance on service standards, etiquette, and menu knowledge.
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards, complying with all health regulations and internal policies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates only.
- Age between 25 and 45 years, with a maximum limit of 35 years for new hires.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Proven experience (preferably 1+ year) in fine‑dining or upscale restaurant service.
- Strong teamwork abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated expertise or strong familiarity with traditional Indonesian menu items.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with flexibility for special events.
