Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and talented Koki Pastry & Bakery Profesional to join our dynamic team in Bogor. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, breads, cakes, and specialty desserts according to standardized recipes and seasonal menus.
  • Develop new product concepts, experiment with flavors, and contribute to menu innovation to keep the offering fresh and competitive.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring all equipment and work surfaces are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order raw materials, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products, adjusting techniques as needed to meet texture, taste, and presentation criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with front‑of‑house staff to coordinate order flow, fulfill special requests, and ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Train and mentor junior bakers or apprentices, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Document production logs, report equipment issues, and assist with routine maintenance of ovens, mixers, and other bakery machinery.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings, providing feedback on workflow efficiencies and suggesting operational enhancements.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: 19 years or older (maximum age not specified).
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a pastry or bakery setting.
  • Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • High level of initiative, creativity in cake and pastry design, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Discipline and reliability, with a commitment to punctuality and consistent attendance.
  • Residency in Bogor or surrounding areas for convenient commuting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of pastry techniques, dough fermentation, frosting applications, and decorative plating.
  • Soft skills: problem‑solving, time management, adaptability to fast‑paced environments, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
