Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, manual brews, and specialty coffees with consistent quality and presentation.
  • Maintain mastery of espresso machine operation, grinder calibration, and regular equipment cleaning schedules.
  • Educate customers on coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods, offering personalized recommendations.
  • Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables, conducting daily stock checks and reporting shortages.
  • Uphold the café’s hygiene standards by adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining a spotless work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to handle peak‑hour traffic, ensuring swift order processing and accurate cash handling.
  • Participate in weekly taste‑testing sessions and ongoing training to stay current with industry trends and new menu items.
  • Assist in creating attractive product displays and promotional material for seasonal offerings.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer preferences, operational improvements, and product innovation.

Requirements

  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Age: 20‑33 years.
  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA) or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree (S1) is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year of professional barista experience in a high‑volume coffee shop.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in manual brewing techniques (pour‑over, French press, AeroPress) and skilled in operating commercial espresso machines.
  • Coffee Knowledge: Basic understanding of coffee bean varieties, roast levels, and flavor extraction methods.
  • Soft Skills: Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Appearance: Clean, presentable, and adheres to the café’s dress code.
  • Availability: Willing to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with flexibility for occasional weekend events.
