Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily schedules for courier pick‑up and delivery activities, ensuring optimal route planning and resource utilization.
- Supervise the end‑to‑end shipping process, from order receipt to final hand‑off to 3PL partners or couriers.
- Define and adjust delivery zones based on volume trends, traffic patterns, and customer priorities.
- Monitor inbound and outbound inventory movements, guaranteeing accurate documentation and timely updates to the warehouse management system.
- Oversee sorting, consolidation, and distribution operations, enforcing quality standards and minimizing handling errors.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and external logistics providers to resolve bottlenecks and improve turnaround times.
- Conduct shift hand‑over briefings, reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery rate, order accuracy, and labor productivity.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations, reducing workplace incidents.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, lead small‑scale Kaizen projects, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members, promoting teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline is a plus.
- 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and last‑mile delivery processes.
- Proven ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, to meet operational demands.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Panyabungan Barat, Kab. Mandailing Natal.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and making informed scheduling decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
- Leadership qualities, including problem‑solving, decision‑making, and team motivation.
- Technical proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic Microsoft Office tools.
