Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of specialty coffee beverages, including espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and seasonal creations, following precise recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workstation, ensuring all equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers) is calibrated and serviced regularly.
- Engage with customers to recommend drinks, answer questions about coffee origins, brewing methods, and dietary preferences, fostering a personalized experience.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately record sales using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, milk, syrups, and supplies; notify management of low stock and assist with receiving deliveries.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including proper food handling, regular cleaning schedules, and compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth shift transitions, share knowledge, and support a positive workplace culture.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, taste panels, and coffee‑knowledge workshops to stay current with industry trends.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of hands‑on experience as a barista or in a related food‑service role.
- Age limit: up to 30 years old.
