Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Specialize in salad preparation and artistic plating; experience as a Salad Artist is highly valued.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
- Assist in daily inventory checks, ordering of supplies, and minimizing waste through efficient stock management.
- Collaborate closely with the head chef and service staff to ensure timely order fulfillment during peak hours.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on knife skills, cooking techniques, and safety protocols.
- Participate in menu development, offering innovative ideas that reflect current culinary trends and local tastes.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and operated safely.
- Adhere to the company’s uniform and personal hygiene policies, presenting a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Provide feedback to management on workflow improvements and potential cost‑saving measures.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 22 years.
- Residence in BSD, Tangerang Selatan, or surrounding areas (placement at BSD Intermoda).
- Educational background: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a restaurant or café environment, preferably within the culinary sector.
- Demonstrated experience as a Salad Artist is a strong plus.
- Full‑time availability and willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00.
- Excellent personal attributes: health-conscious, clean, meticulous, detail‑oriented, disciplined, honest, and responsible.
- Strong cooking skills, including knowledge of modern cooking techniques, flavor balancing, and plating aesthetics.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
