Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented professional to join our finance team as an Audit Pendapatan & Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy of revenue reporting and the effective management of receivables within our dynamic hospitality operations. The successful candidate will be based in the newly developing Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) and will play a pivotal part in supporting the financial integrity of our hotels and resorts across the region.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of daily revenue streams, including room sales, food & beverage, and ancillary services, to verify completeness and accuracy.
- Reconcile accounts receivable balances, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with the front‑office and sales teams to resolve outstanding issues promptly.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior finance management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain and update the AR ledger, ensuring that all invoices are issued correctly, payments are recorded timely, and overdue balances are escalated according to policy.
- Collaborate with the revenue management department to validate pricing strategies and ensure that promotional discounts are applied in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including variance analysis, journal entry preparation, and supporting documentation for external auditors.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard revenue, prevent leakage, and enhance the overall efficiency of the finance function.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on audit procedures, AR best practices, and the use of finance software tools.
- Support ad‑hoc financial projects, such as cost‑benefit analyses for new property openings or technology implementations.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in revenue audit or accounts receivable within the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies quickly.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to relocate and be based in Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN); candidates currently residing in Kalimantan are preferred.
