Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Field Collection Officer (FC) for our Solo office. This role is a critical part of our credit management team, responsible for maintaining healthy cash flow by engaging directly with borrowers who have outstanding payments. The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational foundation, at least one year of relevant experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities
The Field Collection Officer will perform a variety of duties aimed at recovering overdue debts while preserving customer relationships and upholding the company’s reputation. Typical responsibilities include:
- Conducting on‑site visits to delinquent borrowers to negotiate repayment plans and collect outstanding balances.
- Coordinating with internal finance and legal teams to ensure collection efforts comply with regulatory standards.
- Preparing detailed visit reports, updating the CRM system, and documenting all communications accurately.
- Escalating high‑risk cases to senior management for further action, such as legal proceedings or asset recovery.
- Following up on payment commitments and providing reminders via phone, SMS, or email as needed.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times, representing the company’s values of integrity and respect.
- Utilizing Microsoft Office or Open Office tools to generate collection summaries, performance dashboards, and ad‑hoc analyses.
- Participating in regular training sessions to stay current on collection techniques, negotiation tactics, and industry regulations.
Requirements
Successful candidates will meet the following minimum qualifications and possess the listed soft skills:
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational requirements).
- Experience: At least 1 year of field collection experience, preferably within a financing or leasing company.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office or Open Office, comfortable with spreadsheets, word processing, and basic data entry.
- Personal Attributes: Highly detail‑oriented, critical thinker, persistent, resilient under pressure, loyal, and courteous.
- Certification: Possession of an SPPI (Sertifikat Penagihan Piutang Indonesia) certificate is a strong advantage.
- Physical Ability: Capable of traveling within the Solo region, conducting multiple daily visits, and handling paperwork on the move.
