Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista Kopi Profesional to join our specialty coffee shop, Kedai Spesial. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering consistently high‑quality beverages while upholding the warm, welcoming atmosphere that our patrons expect.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty teas in strict accordance with company recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment—including espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and steam wands—ensuring optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Conduct daily inventory checks, restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables, and report any supply shortages to the shift supervisor.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately, offering recommendations, and answering questions about coffee origins, roast profiles, and brewing methods.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations, and perform end‑of‑day cleaning routines.
- Collaborate with team members to manage peak‑hour traffic, ensuring timely service and a positive guest experience.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new menu items, latte art techniques, and emerging industry trends.
- Uphold the café’s cultural values, including observing the five daily prayers (Sholat) as part of the workplace’s respectful environment.
Requirements
- Gender: Male (Laki‑laki) – as specified by the employer.
- Age: Maximum 0 years (interpreted as open to recent graduates or entry‑level candidates).
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Work Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Essential Skills:
- Basic barista skills and a willingness to learn advanced coffee preparation techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact politely with customers.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a disciplined work ethic, including adherence to the five daily prayers (Sholat).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle high‑pressure situations during busy periods.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
