Introduction
PT Solindo Plastik Industri is seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented professional to join its Finance Department as a Senior Accounting Staff. This full‑time position is based at our main manufacturing facility and offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00. The role is designed for a motivated individual who can support the company’s financial integrity, ensure accurate tax compliance, and assist in strategic budgeting initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate, complete, and compliant with Indonesian GAAP.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, collaborating closely with the Finance Manager and external auditors.
- Process payroll, employee reimbursements, and other regular accounting transactions in a timely manner.
- Manage the company’s tax obligations, including the preparation and filing of VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory reports using the Coretax system.
- Conduct regular variance analysis, highlighting significant deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles by gathering data, performing trend analysis, and presenting findings to senior management.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to verify cost allocations and ensure proper expense classification.
- Assist in internal audit preparations and implement recommended process improvements to enhance financial controls.
- Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff on best practices, software usage, and documentation standards.
- Continuously monitor and improve the efficiency of accounting workflows, leveraging MS Office tools for reporting automation.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (as specified by the client’s workplace policy).
- Education: Minimum high school (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; diploma (D1/D3) or bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Work Experience: Prior experience in accounting, tax filing, or finance is highly valued, though entry‑level candidates with strong aptitude are also considered.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experienced in operating the Coretax tax software.
- Personal Attributes: Highly meticulous, organized, honest, and capable of communicating clearly with internal teams and external partners.
- Availability: Must not be currently enrolled in any educational program and able to commit to the full‑time schedule.
