Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Staf Penagihan / Kolektor Lapangan to join our dynamic collections team in Pontianak. This front‑line role is essential for maintaining healthy cash flow and customer relationships by conducting on‑site visits to borrowers, negotiating payment solutions, and ensuring compliance with both company policy and local regulations. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and will become a trusted point of contact for our valued clients while representing the professionalism and integrity of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily field visits to assigned borrowers, establishing personal contact to discuss outstanding balances and payment options.
  • Assess each debtor’s financial situation and propose tailored repayment plans that align with company guidelines and the customer’s ability to pay.
  • Document every interaction meticulously, preparing detailed daily reports that capture visit outcomes, payment commitments, and any escalations needed.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the company’s collections procedures, ensuring all actions are lawful, ethical, and respectful of consumer rights.
  • Collaborate closely with the central collections desk, providing real‑time updates via phone, email, or mobile reporting tools to keep the team informed of progress and challenges.
  • Identify early warning signs of potential defaults and communicate proactively with supervisors to trigger preventative measures.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality, safeguarding client data in accordance with data protection regulations.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on regulatory changes, negotiation techniques, and best practices in debt recovery.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Male candidates only, age not exceeding 45 years.
  • At least one year of proven experience in field collections, credit control, or related customer‑facing roles.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to convey complex payment terms clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the capacity to build rapport quickly with diverse customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet daily visitation targets.
  • Basic proficiency with mobile reporting applications and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) for report generation.
  • Commitment to uphold all legal requirements governing debt collection practices in Indonesia.
