Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Petugas Keamanan (Satpam) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the safety and security of our office premises, warehouse facilities, employees, visitors, and assets. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance equipment to ensure the security of office and warehouse areas.
- Control and log the entry and exit of employees, guests, and vehicles, verifying identification and issuing visitor passes.
- Inspect all incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring compliance with established security procedures and preventing unauthorized items from entering the site.
- Maintain orderliness within the premises, promptly addressing any disturbances or unsafe behaviors.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and daily activity logs, documenting any security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security threats, following the company’s emergency response plan.
- Assist with general office operations when needed, including driving company vehicles for errands or transport of personnel.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents, providing accurate information and support.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on the latest security protocols, first aid, and conflict de‑escalation techniques.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, age not exceeding 30 years.
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent; preferably SMA/SMK or higher.
- At least one (1) year of proven experience in a security role; prior experience in a warehouse or office setting is advantageous.
- Active KTA Security membership and/or a Garda Pratama certificate (preferred).
- Physical and mental fitness to perform duties that may involve standing for long periods, lifting moderate weights, and handling stressful situations.
- Strong personal qualities: integrity, discipline, honesty, responsibility, and a firm yet courteous attitude.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to interact respectfully with staff, visitors, and external partners.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Valid SIM A driver’s license (highly preferred) for duties that require vehicle operation.
- Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a security team.
