Introduction
Meat N Fresh, a leading distributor of premium meat and fresh produce in Samarinda, is seeking a dynamic Canvasser Penjualan to join our sales team at the M. Said store. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive on face‑to‑face customer interaction, enjoy building lasting relationships, and are eager to contribute to the growth of a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) business. The successful candidate will be the front‑line ambassador of our brand, responsible for expanding our customer base, reinforcing loyalty, and delivering a superior service experience across the local market.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily canvassing activities within the store’s catch‑area to identify potential retail and institutional customers.
- Schedule and perform regular on‑site visits to existing clients, presenting new product lines and gathering feedback.
- Proactively generate new leads (NOO – New Order Opportunities) by networking with local businesses, markets, restaurants, and households.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales orders, and follow‑up actions using the company’s CRM system.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets through persuasive negotiation and upselling techniques.
- Collaborate with the store manager and logistics team to ensure timely delivery and resolve any order discrepancies.
- Provide product education, including safety standards and proper handling, to reinforce Meat N Fresh’s reputation for quality.
- Report market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to help shape promotional strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; all study majors are accepted.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, preferably as a canvasser, motorcycle salesman, or territory officer (TO) within the FMCG or food‑service sector.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) with a reliable motorbike for field visits.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly with diverse customers.
- Target‑driven mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high‑quality service.
- Willingness to be based at the M. Said store and work a full‑time schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
