Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar staff, and ensure timely delivery.
- Explain menu items, daily specials, and dietary options, assisting guests with recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor table conditions, promptly refill drinks, clear used dishes, and maintain a clean, organized dining area.
- Handle payment transactions, process cash and card payments, and provide correct change while maintaining confidentiality.
- Collaborate with fellow waitstaff, kitchen personnel, and management to coordinate service flow and resolve any guest concerns.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, proper table setting, and hygiene protocols.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings, post‑shift reports, and ongoing training sessions to continuously improve service quality.
- Uphold the restaurant’s brand image by adhering to dress code, personal grooming standards, and a professional attitude at all times.
Requirements
- Age between 18 and 28 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a vocational certificate in hospitality is a plus.
- Open to all genders; both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Well‑groomed appearance with a courteous and approachable demeanor.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities (e.g., English) are advantageous.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in restaurant or food‑service roles is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiastic newcomers will be considered.
- Flexibility to work six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Team‑player attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving service standards.
