Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated Teknisi Alat Medis (ATEM) – Spesialis Perawatan to join our multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early‑career professional with a diploma (D3/D4) in Medical Equipment Technology, a valid STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) for medical device technicians, and a strong academic record (minimum GPA 3.00). The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced hospital environment, ensuring that all diagnostic and therapeutic equipment is safe, functional, and ready for patient care. This is a full‑time position with a Monday‑Saturday schedule (08:00‑17:00) and offers the opportunity to grow within a reputable health‑care institution that values continuous learning and patient‑centered service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, calibration, and safety checks on a wide range of medical devices, including imaging systems, infusion pumps, ventilators, and monitoring equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, diagnose technical issues, and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime and support clinical operations.
  • Document all maintenance activities, service reports, and calibration certificates in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards (BPOM, Kemenkes).
  • Coordinate with vendors and service engineers for complex repairs, warranty claims, and parts procurement, ensuring cost‑effective solutions.
  • Provide on‑site training and technical support to nursing and clinical staff on proper equipment usage, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables, and conduct regular stock audits.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new medical technologies, offering technical insight during procurement discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines, especially when servicing equipment used in sterile environments.
  • Assist in the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to equipment management.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by reporting trends in equipment failures and proposing preventive strategies.

Requirements

  • Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Medical Equipment Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Valid STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) for a Medical Equipment Technician.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.
  • Female candidates only, in accordance with the specific staffing policy for this role.
  • Strong orientation toward patient service and a commitment to delivering reliable equipment performance.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clinical personnel, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Willingness to start immediately and adapt to the Monday‑Saturday work schedule (08:00‑17:00).
  • Prior internship or entry‑level experience in a hospital or clinical setting is considered a plus.
