Introduction
Armindo Logistics is expanding its technical team and is looking for a dedicated Industrial Machine Maintenance Mechanic to support its fleet of commercial vehicles across all branches in Indonesia. This full‑time role offers a stable Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule (08:00‑17:00) and provides an excellent platform for skilled mechanics to grow within a dynamic, fast‑moving logistics environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and detailed inspections on a diverse range of heavy‑duty trucks, trailers, and ancillary equipment following Armindo’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Diagnose mechanical failures, conduct fault isolation, and execute timely repairs to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure fleet reliability.
- Maintain accurate service records, log work orders, and update maintenance databases to support compliance and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with the operations and safety teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables, ordering replacements as needed to keep the workshop fully stocked.
- Provide on‑site technical support during emergency breakdowns, often working under pressure to restore service within tight timeframes.
- Mentor junior technicians, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of safety, discipline, and proactive problem‑solving.
- Ensure the workshop complies with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper waste disposal and equipment handling.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMA (high school) or D3/D4 technical diploma; higher technical qualifications are a plus.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience as a mechanic specializing in commercial vehicles (e.g., trucks, buses, heavy‑duty vans).
- Proven ability to follow detailed SOPs and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Strong personal attributes: disciplined, proactive, meticulous, and honest.
- Capability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight service deadlines.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM A or B1) is highly desirable.
- Willingness to be deployed to any Armindo branch across the country, with flexibility for travel.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with a basic understanding of technical documentation.
