Introduction
J&T Express, a leading logistics and parcel delivery provider in Indonesia, is expanding its regional network in Kampar, Riau. We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as Sprinter/Kurir Motor. This role is essential for ensuring that packages reach customers quickly, safely, and with the high service standards that J&T is known for.
Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver parcels using a personal motorbike, adhering to route plans and delivery schedules.
- Conduct a pre‑delivery inspection of each order to verify item count, condition, and address accuracy.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods from the motorbike, ensuring careful handling to avoid damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, capture electronic signatures, and submit daily activity reports to the operations supervisor.
- Communicate with customers in a clear and courteous manner, confirming receipt of items and addressing any immediate concerns.
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust routes in real time to meet delivery deadlines while complying with local traffic laws.
- Perform routine checks on the motorbike (fuel level, tire pressure, brakes) to guarantee vehicle readiness for each shift.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies, report missing or damaged items, and support inventory accuracy.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 50 years; all genders are welcome.
- Own a well‑maintained motorbike with valid registration and insurance.
- Reside in the designated service area or be willing to relocate as needed.
- Possess an Android smartphone with at least 3 GB RAM for the J&T mobile app and GPS navigation.
- No prior experience required, but a strong willingness to learn and a customer‑focused attitude are essential.
- Clear verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey information politely and effectively.
- Basic numeracy for handling cash‑on‑delivery (COD) transactions, if assigned.
- Physical ability to lift parcels up to 20 kg and perform repetitive loading/unloading tasks.
