Responsibilities
- Process cash, credit, and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, ensuring all necessary supplies (receipt paper, bags, change) are stocked.
- Greet customers warmly, answer basic product inquiries, and provide guidance on promotions or loyalty programs.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy while safeguarding against fraud.
- Conduct end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, preparing reports for the store manager and accounting department.
- Assist with inventory checks, price tag updates, and shelf restocking during quieter periods.
- Collaborate with sales associates to resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security procedures, including proper handling of cash and confidential customer data.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on product knowledge, POS upgrades, and customer service best practices.
- Maintain punctual attendance for the scheduled shift of Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and observe the five daily prayers as part of personal discipline.
Requirements
- Male candidates only; candidates must be comfortable observing the five daily prayers (Sholat).
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 30 years old (flexible based on experience).
- No prior experience required, though experience with a cash register or POS system is a strong advantage.
- Basic numeracy and ability to handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work a fixed schedule of six days per week, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
