Introduction
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in a fast‑paced restaurant or hotel environment. As a key member of our front‑of‑house staff, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable dining experience from the moment they are seated until they depart.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
- Serve dishes and drinks with attention to detail, ensuring proper presentation, temperature, and timing.
- Monitor tables throughout the service, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and anticipating guest needs.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries confidently.
- Uphold all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for restaurant service, including sanitation, food safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate seamless service during peak periods.
- Handle payment transactions, process checks, and ensure accurate billing in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with opening and closing duties such as setting tables, polishing silverware, restocking service stations, and completing end‑of‑day reports.
- Participate in regular training sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews to continuously improve service standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a D3/D4 qualification is preferred.
- Previous experience as a waiter or waitress in a hotel or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, communicative, and able to build rapport with guests of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Clear understanding of restaurant SOPs, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards for food & beverage service.
- Excellent memory, attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask in a high‑energy environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or plates as required.
