Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the kitchen crew throughout all operational activities, from prep to service.
  • Ensure every menu item is prepared in strict accordance with recipe specifications and visual presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain a spotless and safe kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene, sanitation, and food‑safety protocols (HACCP preferred).
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of raw materials, collaborate with the purchasing department, and manage stock levels to prevent shortages.
  • Train new and existing team members, provide on‑the‑job coaching, and evaluate performance through constructive feedback.
  • Prepare accurate daily and weekly operational reports for the Operations Manager, highlighting production metrics, waste, and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor equipment functionality, arrange preventive maintenance, and quickly resolve any technical issues that could impact service.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among all kitchen staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: No upper limit; candidates of any age may apply.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Professional experience: At least 1–2 years in a supervisory kitchen role or a similar position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of kitchen operational procedures and food safety standards, with HACCP certification being a strong advantage.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating a diverse team.
  • Ability to manage inventory, work closely with purchasing, and control food costs.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to produce clear operational reports.
  • Flexibility to work a seven‑day schedule, Monday through Sunday, from 07:00 to 16:00.
