Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and reliable Pengelola Bar (Bar Manager) to lead the daily operations of our vibrant hospitality venue. The successful candidate will oversee staff, manage inventory, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and create an inviting atmosphere that keeps patrons returning.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and schedule bar staff, providing clear direction and ongoing coaching to maintain high service standards.
- Develop and maintain an appealing beverage menu, collaborating with suppliers to source quality spirits, wines, and mixers.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and manage ordering processes to minimize waste and control costs.
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations, performing routine checks and training staff on compliance.
- Handle cash registers, process transactions accurately, and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Engage with customers, respond to feedback, and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction.
- Organize promotional events, theme nights, and special offers to boost foot traffic and revenue.
- Prepare shift handover reports, documenting any incidents, inventory discrepancies, or staffing concerns.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless service during peak periods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment, overseeing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to all genders; diversity and inclusion are valued.
- Prior experience in bar or hospitality management is preferred, though motivated newcomers with a strong work ethic are also considered.
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Honesty, accountability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Capacity to perform effectively under pressure, especially during high‑volume shifts.
- Basic numeracy for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional evenings or weekend events as needed.
