Responsibilities
- Operate a B1‑class truck for long‑distance routes, ensuring timely delivery of ice‑cream shipments while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Plan and review daily routes using GPS and local knowledge to avoid delays, traffic congestion, and road hazards.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip, checking oil, brakes, tires, and refrigeration units to guarantee optimal performance.
- Load and unload frozen goods following safety protocols, maintaining product integrity and preventing temperature excursions.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately, including waybills, proof of delivery, and any incident reports.
- Communicate regularly with the logistics coordinator and warehouse staff to update status, report issues, and confirm delivery windows.
- Maintain a clean and presentable appearance of the vehicle interior and exterior, reflecting the professional image of the company.
- Assist in minor vehicle maintenance tasks such as refueling, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
- Participate in safety briefings and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance route efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
Requirements
- Male candidate, maximum age of 40 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1‑2 years of proven experience as a professional truck driver, preferably with long‑distance freight.
- Valid SIM B1 driving license with a clean record.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, diligence, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Excellent knowledge of regional road networks and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes.
- Good physical and mental health, with the stamina to handle long hours on the road.
- Neat, clean personal appearance and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic understanding of English is a plus.
