We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Promotion Girl to join our dynamic team at Tarakan Grand Mall. As a brand ambassador, you will represent a variety of products, create engaging shopping experiences, and contribute directly to the mall’s vibrant atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clear, friendly, and compelling product information to shoppers, ensuring they understand key features and benefits.
  • Actively promote products through demonstrations, sampling, and persuasive sales techniques to achieve daily and weekly sales goals.
  • Maintain an orderly and attractive product display, adhering to visual merchandising standards and ensuring the promotional area is always clean and inviting.
  • Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash or electronic payments, and keep administrative records up to date.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by providing attentive service, answering queries, and following up on feedback.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, special events, and seasonal sales drives.
  • Monitor inventory levels, report stock shortages, and assist with restocking activities as needed.
  • Stay informed about product updates, competitor activities, and market trends to continuously improve sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • No upper age limit; candidates of any age are welcome.
  • Open to all genders.
  • Zero to two years of experience in sales promotion, retail, or customer service; prior experience as a SPG (Sales Promotion Girl) is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, confidence, and the ability to persuade customers effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for building positive customer relationships.
  • Ability to work quickly, stay responsive under pressure, and consistently meet sales targets.
  • Basic knowledge of visual merchandising principles and the ability to keep the work area tidy and attractive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools; familiarity with 3ds Max is a plus for product visualization tasks.
  • Flexible schedule: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional weekend events.
