Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Baker (Asisten Ahli dalam Pembuatan Roti dan Pastry) to join our dynamic bakery team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with at least one year of hands‑on experience in a professional bakery environment, a strong work ethic, and a passion for creating high‑quality bread and pastry products. The successful candidate will work closely with our head baker to ensure daily production runs smoothly, consistently meets our strict quality standards, and delights our customers with fresh, delicious baked goods.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the head baker in preparing dough, batters, and fillings for a variety of breads, rolls, cakes, and pastries.
  • Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients according to standardized recipes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofing cabinets, and dough sheeters safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures, making adjustments as needed to achieve optimal texture and flavor.
  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment to comply with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries, checking product quality, and rotating stock to minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the sales and front‑of‑house teams to fulfill special orders and respond to customer feedback.
  • Participate in recipe development sessions, offering ideas for new products and improvements to existing items.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and report any equipment issues or ingredient shortages promptly.
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • Male candidate, maximum age of 35 years.
  • Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a baker or assistant baker role.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and loyalty to the employer.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient handling, and food safety standards.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads (up to 25 kg).
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Willingness to work a full schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
