Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our warehouse team in the PLUIT Barat area of North Jakarta. The role combines the responsibilities of a Picker and a Packer within a fast‑moving e‑commerce fulfillment environment. As part of a dynamic logistics company that serves a broad network of online retailers, you will play a critical part in ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately, packed securely, and dispatched on time.
Responsibilities
- Order Monitoring: Continuously monitor the incoming order queue, verify order details, and prioritize based on shipping deadlines.
- Picking Items: Retrieve products from designated storage locations according to printed inventory (INV) orders, ensuring the correct SKU, quantity, and condition.
- Quality Checks: Perform visual inspections for damages or defects, report any discrepancies, and follow established quality‑control procedures.
- Barcode Scanning: Scan each item’s barcode to confirm its inclusion in the order and to update the warehouse management system in real time.
- Packing: Assemble orders into appropriate packaging, apply protective materials, and label packages according to company standards and carrier requirements.
- Driver Coordination: Trigger the dispatch system to notify drivers, load packages into driver bags, and hand them over with proper documentation.
- Documentation: Print and file order invoices, maintain accurate picking logs, and assist in daily reconciliation reports.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Follow all safety guidelines, keep workstations tidy, and participate in routine warehouse housekeeping.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors, fellow pickers, packers, and the logistics coordination team to resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum junior high school (SMP/MTS) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as per the current operational policy).
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy for order monitoring and barcode scanning.
- Physical Ability: Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting items up to 20 kg, and moving quickly in a busy warehouse.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions precisely, good time‑management, and a collaborative attitude.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and willingness to work the scheduled shift of 08:00 – 17:00.
