Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, applying promotions, and processing cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Provide friendly, courteous service to every customer, answering inquiries and resolving minor issues with a calm demeanor.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all equipment is functional and supplies (receipts, bags, change) are stocked.
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, reconciling discrepancies and reporting them promptly.
- Assist with inventory control by reporting low‑stock items, damaged goods, or pricing errors to the floor supervisor.
- Support promotional activities, such as upselling related products and informing customers about current deals.
- Collaborate with teammates across departments to ensure smooth store operations and a cohesive customer experience.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and hygiene standards, including proper handling of perishable goods when necessary.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on new systems, product knowledge, and customer service techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑25 years old.

- Prior experience in a cashier or retail role is preferred but not mandatory; strong willingness to learn will be considered.

- Ability to work a full schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods.
