Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, community events, and referrals.
- Provide economic counseling and continuous support to existing members, helping them manage household finances and improve repayment capacity.
- Conduct on‑site surveys, collect relevant data, and perform feasibility analyses to evaluate loan eligibility in line with Amartha’s policies and risk‑management guidelines.
- Prepare and submit detailed field reports, including credit assessments, market observations, and recommendations for loan approval.
- Execute the collection process for overdue accounts, employing respectful yet firm communication techniques to ensure timely repayments.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions using Amartha’s digital platforms, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with internal teams—such as underwriting, risk, and training—to streamline the loan lifecycle and address client concerns promptly.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product offerings, regulatory changes, and best practices in micro‑finance.
- Promote financial literacy within the community by organizing workshops, distributing educational materials, and mentoring borrowers.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years as per company policy).
- Gender: Open to all genders; female candidates are preferred.
- Own reliable transportation (motorcycle or car) to travel across the assigned area daily.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with rural households.
- Resilience and problem‑solving ability in challenging field environments.
- No prior experience required, though experience in sales, community development, or micro‑finance is a plus.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools and willingness to learn Amartha’s proprietary loan management system.
