Introduction

Mie Gacoan, a rapidly expanding fast‑casual noodle brand in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic Kepala Lantai to lead the opening of its newest store in Kabupaten Madiun (Panglima Sudirman). This managerial position is ideal for an energetic professional who is passionate about the food & beverage industry and eager to develop a high‑performing restaurant team. The successful candidate will oversee all front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations, ensure flawless service delivery, and drive the store’s financial performance while upholding Mie Gacoan’s brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform crew duties across all stations (cashier, server, kitchen, production, barista) to maintain operational flexibility.
  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular stock opname, manage inventory levels, and coordinate with vendors to ensure product quality and timely deliveries.
  • Develop and execute staff scheduling, shift rotations, and attendance tracking to optimize labor costs.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training programs for new and existing crew members, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Monitor crew performance, provide coaching, and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Coordinate with the regional management team on promotional activities, menu updates, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure all food preparation follows Mie Gacoan’s standardized recipes and quality control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate) or S1 (Bachelor) in any field; hospitality or business studies are a plus.
  • Age: maximum 30 years; height requirement – male ≥ 165 cm, female ≥ 160 cm.
  • At least 1 year of experience in food & beverage operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage inventory, control costs, and interpret sales reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; proven leadership and team‑building capabilities.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, under a rotating schedule.
  • Willingness to attend a comprehensive training program (several months) at any Mie Gacoan location; accommodation and transport will be fully covered for out‑of‑town trainees.
  • Good health with no chronic illnesses that could affect job performance.
  • Commitment to be placed at the new Madiun store and to support its successful launch.
  • Key soft skills: conflict management, compliance with standards, team coordination, and presentation skills.
